Forex Trading V.S Real Estate Development: Part 2 – Will Real Estate Development Survive?

Posted by on Sep 21, 2016

Real estate marketers have suffered massive losses during the recent years because of the economic problems we’re all facing. One good example is the case of unfortunate Detroit. Even China is now facing the fall of its own stock market and this is not a good sign for companies who invested millions of dollars in real estate development. For those who were able to travel in China, you’ll be surprised at the massive apartment complex and skyscrapers that were built there when the Chinese stock market was in its full power.

Unfortunately, just like Detroit, no one wanted to live or rent these apartments because they were too expensive.  Consider the minimum wage worker in China, who barely makes around $1 per hour; do you think he/she would be able to own an apartment with a monthly rental of $200 – $300 per month? I don’t think so. Because of this, there is a reason why commercial real estate development is an industry that is considered dead or dying.

Is there really no hope for the real estate developer?

forex trading AustraliaThere is still hope for them, I believe. If a real estate developer would go for cheaper apartment rates instead of forcing the original value of the place on a prospect client, then chances are, he/she would be able to make a sale or commission. Sure, it wouldn’t be that big of a sale, but hey, getting a sale is ten times better than not having a sale at all. Think about it; when an apartment or office space remains unoccupied, it becomes a financial burden because of mortgage payments and utility bills. In short, you keep paying for these things but you don’t get any profit because no one is renting the place!

Another option for most real estate developers is forex trading. In fact, I know a lot of big-time real estate developers who’ve been investing in forex trading for years. It’s a good idea to invest in forex trading because the forex market is not affected by recession at all. The reason for this is because when you invest in forex trading, you invest in two currencies. When one currency is down, the other currency usually goes up. Because of this system, the currency or forex market remains strong, despite the ongoing economic crisis. So while the real estate market is hurting, you can shift to forex trading to get back the losses you incurred.
