Catalyst appointed by FUNDY to raise £1.25M

16th May 2007 - Catalyst Investment Group Limited (“Catalyst”), the investment specialist focusing on non-sector specific small-cap unquoted companies, announces that its £1.25m Offer for Subscription on behalf of Fundy Minerals Ltd ("Fundy"), the Canadian and West African mining and exploration company, has been extended to 31st May. The fund raising is prior Fundy’s move from PLUS (OFEX) to AIM.
Catalyst has established itself as a provider of innovative investment solutions to provide essential seed capital within the small-cap unquoted sector with its Offers for Subscription and risk mitigating C3 Bonds. In 2006, Catalyst raised well over €20 million for companies.
 
Fundy is a resource, exploration and development company focussed on gold, base metals and limestone projects in Canada and gold and diamond exploration in Liberia. In Canada Fundy has conducted field work at the Sandbrook gold prospect, Caribou Lake, Mowat, County Line and Nowlan Lake base metal prospect. At the Flatlands Limestone project, Fundy is awaiting approval to commence quarrying activities. In Liberia Fundy is focussing it exploration activities in a region where it has generated high Kimberlitic Indicator Mineral results.
